THE PRACTICE

Our Team
JonoBioPic3.jpg
Jonathan (Jono) Harris - Titled Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Jonathan's qualifications and experience provide him with an exceptional knowledge of physical function and rehabilitation. Jonathan (or Jono if you prefer) is well known for his use of the Sarah Key Method when treating spinal conditions.  Jono is a 'head to toe' practitioner and enjoys the myriad of treatments he provides daily.

Having participated in sport at state and national levels, Jono's personal experiences led to a desire to study the human body, how it functions, how it responds to different training and treatment stimuli and, most importantly, how it recuperates.

Interestingly, Jono toured the world for 7 years as head physiotherapist to the Australian Olympic Handball Team and has extensive experience in the areas of private practice physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, occupational rehabilitation, and injury prevention programs.

His qualifications, combined with personal experience and continuing education, better assist Jono to prescribe uncomplicated, fun and holistic exercise based rehabilitation programs.

Janet Walters - Physiotherapist APAM, BPhysio (Hons)

Janet has over 20 years of experience working in private practice and the public health system, both in Australia and overseas.

Since graduating from university Janet has worked in a wide variety of locations and settings including rural Victoria; a large sports medicine clinic and a multi-disciplinary chronic pain management team in Perth; and in the UK.

Janet helped establish the first international physiotherapy clinic in Jakarta, Indonesia and was involved in training and education there for 10 years. Subsequent to that Janet worked with a large international medical and allied health team in Tokyo.

My passion is to help people improve their physical fitness and general well being through movement and education. As an avid runner and a keen traveller, I understand the need for optimal physical health. Having two children of my own made me interested in how core strength assists with the stresses placed on the pre- and post-natal body.
